About the role:
The Training Manager role is responsible for providing strategic and tactical vision, and leadership to the Training department. In this role, the Training Manager is responsible for accountability in helping to create and then execute the learning components of the SpecialtyRx vision, principles, and development.
How you will contribute:
  • Responsible for overseeing Training Department.
  • Works closely with Trainers in all locations to develop training strategies and services.
  • Cooperates with department heads in developing training for each department.
  • Ensures that all training materials reflect the latest industry trends and are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Works closely with Compliance/IQ department in developing in-services for each department based on quarterly reporting errors.
  • Orchestrates the coordination, preparation, and training/development needs.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members on design, principles, projects, and work priorities.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Required:
  • License Pharmacist in the state of New Jersey
  • Active License in NY, PA, FL, OH, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an LTC pharmacy
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop strategic plans and convey broad thinking to execute functional and departmental strategy.
  • Operational Execution: Ability to set priorities, deliver and develop workflow processes and tasks in an evolving, dynamic setting.
  • Training Techniques: Understands and connects the latest training techniques and issues in pharmacy to deliver tailored strategies and frameworks to employees.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner, in a variety of formats and media.
Preferred:
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, MUST
  • Ability to work independently and team player.
