Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs, as assigned, all technical, analytical, clerical, and quality assurance tasks and duties associated with laboratory testing. Acts as a resource and educator for other CLSs, other laboratory staff, and hospital personnel. Represents department to accreditation and governmental surveyors. Accepts in-charge duties as assigned

What qualifications you will need:

• Current State of California Department of Health Services Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License.
• Three (3) years or more experience as a CLS II at Good Samaritan Hospital preferred.
• College degree in Biological Sciences (BA or BS).
• Five (5) years’ experience in clinical laboratory.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
