Daily Duties:

• Develop profitable purchasing strategies

-Perform procurement functions to obtain the highest quality goods and services, including machinery, equipment, tooling, repairs and parts-

• Evaluate, coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure efficient operation while maintaining quality and cost
• Manage relationships with key suppliers
• Perform purchasing functions, such as, quoting, negotiating, placing orders, handling quality issues, follow up on delivery, expediting and maintaining purchasing budget

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Excel and other purchasing databases
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or relevant role
• Experience in Blueprint reading
• Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions

Pay:

$19-$25/hr
