Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Java/Angular developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Responsibilities

• Helping team troubleshoot day-to-day integration issues with other applications.

• Participate on behalf of Cognizant team in scrum of scrum meetings and resolve dependencies.

• Formulate code check-in policies in enterprise GIT.

• Recommend appropriate Tools / accelerators for the team.

• Application Design and development in Angular and Java (Springboot)

• Working closely with customer IT team for design decision making and KT calls

• Working closely with offshore team for handshakes both ways

• Collaboration with other teams in the portfolio for integration points / APIs

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, daily stand-up calls, retrospection and all other agile ceremonies

• Testing support, code promotion and UAT support

• Job summary Architectural decision making – this will impact the Cognizant team and also the other customer teams in the portfolio.

• Design decisions and helping Team to adhere to it – reviews to be done to ensure adherence.

Qualifications

• 8+ Years of experience overall

• 3+ years of experience with Java.

• 5+ years of experience with Angular 12,

• Experience with AWS Lambda.

• Prior working experience with offshore is nice to have.

• Communication skills.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.

• Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $99,000.00 – 130,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
