About this Position:
The Product, Motorsports and Technology Public Relations Regional Specialist is an integral member of the American Honda Regional Public Relations team that will uniquely contribute to the development of comprehensive product and technology content and public relations strategy originating from Honda’s U.S.-based R&D facility (named the Auto Development Center) in Ohio to increase brand recognition and stimulate demand for the Honda and Acura brand.
Additionally, the Regional Public Relations Specialist will also support regional press activity in the Midwest and motorsports public relations activity interfacing with Honda Performance Development (HPD) associates/management, IndyCar/IMSA drivers/teams, and attending regional motorsports races around the Midwest.

Who we are seeking:
Experience working in a collaborative and cross-functional setting, experience in planning and managing multiple PR projects under tight deadlines, strong writing and public speaking skills, event planning experience, ability to convey complex and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences (internal, government, media, and other external audiences), and familiar with analytical and PR tools (Cision, HARO, LexisNexis, Google Alerts, etc.).
Required Work Experience:
4-6 years of corporate, or 2-3 years of experience with a PR agency.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
