Practice Services Supervisor - Charge Capture
Position Description:

The Practice Services Supervisor, will supervises the day-to-day operations of charge capture staff including: monitoring workflow, delegating work, especially as it relates to issues concerning charge capture for professional services rendered in multi-specialty medical practice. Completes human resource functions including interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations and staff development. Keeping direct contact with the Practice Services Manager II daily as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of related experience required.
Certifications/Licenses: Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P) and/or Health Information Management credential, RHIT, RHIA.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Experience: Strong preference for experience in a multi-specialty professional billing coding and charge capture and overall knowledge of entire revenue cycle; previous supervisory and/or lead experience preferred.
Field: Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related field preferred.
