Posting Note: This position is part of a team of 4 total advanced practice providers who share coverage of inpatient kidney transplant patients, inpatient liver transplant and hepatology patients as well as outpatient liver transplant patients. This position works 10hr daytime shifts 4 days a week (during the normal work week) and will work approximately 1 out of 4 weekends that are not in addition to their 40 hours of scheduled shifts. Weekend expectations include call responsibilities. This position will also serve as a surgical first assist for liver and kidney transplants with expected call approximately 50% of the time including weekends, holidays, weekdays. First assist duties require either graduation from an accredited PA program or RN First Assist certification for NPs.

This position works in collaboration with the attending physicians and works within their scope of practice to provide excellent clinical care for patients. Plays a critical role in the patient family medical team. Professional who may practice in hospital’s inpatient and/or outpatient setting.
