BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• A High School diploma is required
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Past work experience in a manufacturing environment
• Past experience with grinding or CNC Machine Operations
• Proficient blue print reading skills
• Past experience with machine tools and inspection tools such as gauge blocks, dial indicators calipers and micrometers.
• Knowledge of shop mathematics and tolerances.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• use of hand tools and the ability to use material handling devices
• Must be able to sit stand for long periods of time as necessary in the work area
• Ability to reach and work with arms extended
