Master's degree in Library Science or related program from an ALA accredited graduate school. Two years of professional experience as a librarian are required.
This position will be tasked with managing and overseeing the daily operations of the Library Department’s Mobile Services Unit, which includes Bookmobiles and Technobus; entailing the scheduling of the unit’s routes for regular outreach stops and special events. Additionally, tasks assigned to this position will include regularly scheduled monitoring and assessment of the routes, including weekly rides to the locations assigned to the unit. At times, the incumbent in this position will be required to work mornings, evenings, and/or weekends – subject to community requests for Mobile Services.
