BASIC FUNCTION & JOB DUTIES:
- Under general supervision, provides exceptional customer services, prepares, serves, and cleans up Hot Breakfast for guests following Company policies and procedures.
- Ensures food safety standards are met and maintains appropriate levels of inventory and supplies.
- Maintains the breakfast/lobby area in a clean and organized manner.
- Ensures an exceptional guest experience by providing courteous, friendly guest service through discovering and responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints with a +1 Service Attitude.
- Contributes to maintaining a positive work environment at all times for our diverse team and guests.
- Make our complimentary 5:30 p.m. Kickback “happy hour” … well, happy for our guests.
Start times from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. or 8:30 p.m.
Ensure exceptional, positive experiences for our diverse team members and guests.
- Oversee the 5:30 Kickback for guests through food preparation and clean-up.
- See to it that the kitchen and lobby area are clean and well organized.
- Ensure that food safety standards are met and that supplies are fully stocked at appropriate levels.
- Present and maintain a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality to promote the Drury culture to customers and co-workers.
- Answer guests’ questions using your knowledge of the hotel, area, and events.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY:
- Requires ability to take written and verbal directions in English and speak English.
- Requires ability to communicate in a friendly manner with guests to create a warm, comfortable, relaxing environment.
- Requires knowledge of hotel accommodations, the community, and breakfast hours.
- Requires ability to conduct accurate inventory of food items and calculate order levels.
