Job Description

Salary: $80k - 150k per year

Position: Insurance Sales

The Commercial Lines Producer is an outside sales position responsible for driving new business revenue growth of commercial clients through various channels. In addition to cross-selling clients from internal company departments, this role is expected to establish additional wins through self-generated referral systems, centers of influence and community engagement/interaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Achieve new business sales goals on an annualized basis based
  • Leads via surety bonds
  • Create positive synergy and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practices to meet revenue growth targets
  • Generate sufficient new business leads and first appointment activity volume.
  • Identify and overcome sales obstacles on a prospect-specific basis
  • Effectively execute communication of our solutions effectively to a non-insurance buyer
  • Utilize CRM to support the sales process- including input of accurate and timely information relative to first appointments, follow-up's etc.
  • Develop and deploy sales/marketing strategies to optimize the company position in the marketplace
  • Work collaboratively with the account management team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Experience with vertical such as: Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Hospitality, Agriculture or a Generalist book
  • History of financial success
  • Personable, initiative-taking, purposeful and organized individual that who is driven to achieve individual sales goals
  • Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organization and follow-up skills
  • Excellent listening skills with a strong customer focus
  • Good teamwork skills with an ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work with senior level-management and have a top-level executive presence
  • College degree and current insurance licensing preferred
