NexGen is looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to join their growing team.

Human Resources Assistant
  • Operate as a trusted team member through your professional credibility and strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Act as a change-agent as the business continues to reshape itself with a goal of being #wherethebestwanttobelong.
  • Leverage available people data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Leverage all existing HR programs, policies, processes, and systems, and build relationships with the HR Managers at Gray, Inc. Be a first point of contact for matters ranging from orientation and compensation questions to benefit qualifications.
  • Engage quickly, compassionately, and judiciously on employee relations issues; and perform investigations as needed.
  • Partner closely with Gray Talent Acquisition to help deliver on our recruiting and hiring goals.
Qualifications:
  • High School degree or equivalent with at least one year of HR or Payroll Experience.
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish.
  • A bias towards action, stellar work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence in your programs and work products.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be a persuasive communicator possessing excellent interpersonal, group facilitation, process, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work with both onsite and distributed teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local laws, statutes, etc. which govern employment policies and practices.
  • Ability and desire to operate with a high degree of flexibility.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled. Overtime may be required. Travel to customer, project, and/or hub locations will be required from time to time.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
