Overview:
Performs a variety of clinical and clerical tasks as directed by the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse. Demonstrates commitment to providing safe and effective care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Performs Unit Secretary-clerical functions/tasks.
  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficiency of operations.
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience working with children/families and
  • Enrolled in a professional (BSN/AD) or practical (LPN) nursing education program and have successfully completed the fundamentals in nursing course.
  • BLS certification Required Upon Hire
  • Some units may require bilingual skills
Starting Pay:
Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.25/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home:
This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
