MW Engineer

General Purpose: Transmission Engineer role, to support Microwave and IP projects. The position is open within the Illinois region.

Main Responsibility Area

• Technical support of Wavence Microwave products
• Provide in-depth technical support and perform knowledge transfer sessions to customer technical teams to ensure that the required X-Haul product expertise is timely cascaded to stakeholders.
• Executing trials and new feature implementations, proof of concept in lab and live environments including on fields and towers.
• Integration and acceptance testing
• On-site / remote troubleshooting
• Executing software updates and upgrades
• Executing trials and new feature implementations, proof of concept in lab and live environments
• Case handling support, creating and tracking of care tickets
• Create, test and document specific methods and operational procedures required to address customer needs or customization requirements for performance reporting on analytics.
• Technical support of IP products
• Being involved to Pre-Sales activities for future x-haul projects
• Travelling and supporting customers outside country when needed
• Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area. Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. Identifies and solves technical problems. Shares knowledge in own professional area.
