Job Description

The Global Equities Liquidity Reporting role is part of the broader Equities Product Control team. The Controller is responsible for the timely and accurate liquidity submissions of the Line of Business. You will also be responsible for understanding and monitoring the Equities balance sheet and liquidity results.

The role gives an excellent foundation in understanding the business and products traded and how this is presented within the Liquidity framework. It also allows the opportunity to partner with the business to apply this knowledge as the candidate becomes more experienced.

Job responsibilities
  • Oversee and be accountable for the quality of the Liquidity Reporting submissions of the Equities Business
  • Interact with Front Office, Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Treasury Controllers, and Profit & Loss (PnL)/Risk product controllers, ensuring accurate reporting for Liquidity Submissions
  • Responsible for the production of daily liquidity submissions, performing consistency checks, roll forwards, and completing data quality checklists and analytical review
  • Working with the business to ensure that they fully understand developments in Liquidity framework and priorities
  • Provide guidance on liquidity for products, liaising with CIB Treasury and ensuring we are proactive with liquidity requirements
  • Use resources available within JPMorgan Chase, to create efficiencies and streamline processes
  • Enhance liquidity reporting to provide greater transparency to senior management and the business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Capacity to summarize complex information and deliver it at business executive level
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills and comfortable with business contact
  • Positive can-do attitude looking to add value across the breadth of the business
  • Previous Experience in an Investment Banking environment (preferable)
  • Understanding of liquidity, accounting, product and risk (preferable)
