Payment Collection Service Representative Job Purpose: Secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts; resolving discrepancies.
Payment Collection Service Representative Job Responsibilities:
- Attend customers either in person or by phone.https://sbaa.bamboohr.com/careers.
- Collect on accounts by sending statements and communicating with customers via phone, email, fax, or mail.
- Receive payment (cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order, Check), and post customer payments by entering transactions.
- Coordinate financing availability through an outside financier.
- Prepare cash and check payments for bank deposits.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, marketing departments, and from customers.
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with marketing and customer registration department.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
