West Los Angeles is located on 14th St in Santa Monica, but we have clients up and down the west side.... From Woodland Hills down through Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica to Long Beach and all the way east to Compton, Gardena, Inglewood, etc.
This is who you are:
- Love working with the elderly.
- Are committed and are great team players.
- Are good with personal care including helping to prepare meals, tidy the home, assist with laundry, bathe and rotate them (if necessary), ensure their safety, and are willing to build rapport with them
- Are great communicators who reply to calls, voicemails, texts, or emails quickly and don't ghost us
- Want flexible hours and are open to taking various shifts with different clients
- Has their Home Care Aide (HCA) license, full vaccination against Covid 19, recent TB test, and CPR certification*

Your tasks:
Working for us is a great way to make a connection with a client and learn more about their history. Most like to talk/share their story and learn more about you too! Things you do for our clients include:
- Companionship - just being there with them to talk, play games together, and do little projects.
- Meal Prep - help our clients prepare a meal and then clean up afterward... some clients simply can't do this for themselves anymore. But with our help, their lives can be normal again.
- Assisting with personal hygiene activities like bathing, dressing, etc.
- Doctor's appointments - drive them and be their "note taker" so you can help them when they arrive home.

- Flexible scheduling (especially if you have another job or are a student) Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, and as many as 7 days a week.
- Direct Deposit paid bi-weekly
- Competitive pay- $16 to $18 to start; DOE and ability to drive clients in own car.
