Job Summary and Opportunity:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will help support the Commercial Division with achieving its performance objectives. You will be involved in the financial and operational aspects of the business. Responsibilities include developing business strategy and financial metrics, track financial and sales performance, implementing strategic and operational initiatives. You will be exposed to all the business functions through your partnerships with sales, operations, finance and technology. Successful candidates possess strong analytical, interpersonal, adaptable and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Solve complex problems and situations
  • Drive the processes needed for developing the line of business strategic plan and the supporting financial metrics
  • Drive strategic and operational initiatives in support of the transformation roadmap
  • Prepare division budget and forecast. Research and report on variances between the budget and the non-financial drivers
  • Partners in the build-out and support of databases, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc. to enable analysis, modeling and data visualization
  • Support coordination between FP&A, Operations, Technology and the line of business to facilitate the implementation of financial and operational performance measurement methodology and tools
  • Prepare ad-hoc presentations and recommendations
  • Ensures timely and consistent business unit communication with other bank areas and executive management
  • Partner with other bank teams to implement transformation priorities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' finance, consulting, or similar environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical ability and understanding of performance measurement approaches
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and BI tools
  • Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
