DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS:
We seek a dynamic, experienced, culturally-aware teacher for a progressive Montessori program that honors educational best practices. Assistant Teachers have completed an undergraduate degree and are working toward professional training in education, which may include Montessori certification and/or a graduate degree in education. The Assistant Teacher attends regular meetings and observes, advises, and serves as a mentor and role model in the areas of student needs, preparing the classroom environment, curriculum development and delivery, classroom routines, family communication, and record keeping as directed by the Lead Teacher.
