Excelraise, LLC is a rapidly growing full service IT solutions integrator and talent management company headquartered in Denver, CO. Our valued client*s includes fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies.

Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Help Desk Technical Support with our direct client in Redondo Beach, CA.

Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Resolves end user IT issues and provide end user IT services surrounding computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems while demonstrating expertise in customer service and technical knowledge.
  • Perform lower level system updates such as account creations, phone configuration, network device registration, etc.
  • Records, maintains and updates records in the Incident Management system. Performs analysis of problems and assist with corrective action to restore functionality, and works with technical, customer service or development staff to resolve recurring problems and issues with applications and/or products.
  • Documents and submits problem resolutions to the knowledge database in order to assist other Help Desk personnel with problem resolutions.
  • Position will work one of two shifts (3:00AM – 11:30 PM Pacific Time) OR (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Time) Monday through Friday.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and 4 years of IT experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 2 years of IT experience
  • Current Security+ or other 8570 certification; OR the ability to obtain one within 6 months of start
  • Experience in Microsoft products such as Windows Desktop OS, Office Product Suite
  • Ability to work (3:00 AM – 11:30 PM Pacific Time) OR (9:30AM to 6:00PM Pacific Time) Monday through Friday
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s of Science or other technical based degree
  • CompTIA A+ or Network+ Certification
  • Proficiency in remote administration and troubleshooting of desktop PCs, Visio, PowerShell
  • Experience with zero and/or thin client devices
  • Experience in Active Directory configuring user and computer accounts
  • Cross-platform experience (i.e. two or more: Windows, Linux, Solaris, OSX, UNIX, etc.)
  • Experience supporting VMware VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure)
  • Current Top Secret level security clearance
