The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer will ensure T-Mobile’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) matures our DLP program and manage the security controls documentation, testing, monitoring while safeguarding and protecting T-Mobile’s environment. Performing technical security assessments, while working cross-functional with T-Mobile Engineers to design and build proactive methods to enhance our security posture.
This position is responsible full lifecycle of design and support evolution of DLP, systems administration, daily operations of DLP technologies and services with a focus on continuous service improvement. Collaborate with Engineering & Operations Teams to address security requirements while supporting network security best practices.
Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, critical thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and manage target state DLP Technologies, integrations and policies.
- Partner and collaborate with Stakeholders, Partners, and internal groups providing DLP services for existing/new applications and systems.
- Support deployments and continuous improvement of new and existing security technologies including DLP.
- Align with other departments to implement DLP into work and data flows to ensure compliance and manage risk.
- Maintain and support other Cyber Security technologies.
- Document processes and procedures relating to Cyber Security technologies.
- Assist with maintaining the Cyber Security Roadmap, metrics and artifacts.
- Maintain customer compliance requirements revolving around NIST and ISO.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Experience
Required
- 5+ years performing deployments and managing security tools such as Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint Security/Endpoint Detection and Response, Host Intrusion Prevention, Cloud Access Security Broker and Identity Management Solutions.
- 3-5+ years Microsoft Purview, policies, configurations, and deployment
- Familiarity with various host, network and cloud-based security technologies to own the maintenance and lifecycle of technology.
- Experience with ISO27000 series standards and NIST800 standards including 30, 53,82 and 171
- Azure Defender /O365
- Microsoft O365 DLP
- Microsoft Cloud App Security (MCAS)
- Microsoft Intune
- Azure Security Center
- Medium to advance knowledge of Scripting tools (Python/Perl/Shell/HTML/PHP) ()
- Knowledge of federal & compliance regulations e.g. SOX, PCI & CPNI ()
- Familiarity with load balancers (ex – A10, F5), firewalls (ex – CheckPoint), Venafi, MDM (ex - Mobile Iron), Cloud (ex - AWS, Azure), Malware Protection (ex -FireEye), Advanced Persistent Threats (ex - Damballa), Privileged Accounts (ex – CyberArk), SIEM (ex – ArcSight), Log & Event (ex – Splunk), Intrusion IDS/IPS (ex – Symantec) , Cloud Platform (ex – PCF, Docker), Scanning (ex – Qualys), AppSec (ex - Veracode) ()
- Strong understanding of T-Mobile’s network elements and how they work together (EIT, Engineering & 3rd Party).
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Always act with tact and integrity, and work with a variety of individuals in a positive and productive manner
- Strong verbal & written communication skills with diverse multi-functional groups and the ability to present effectively to small & large groups
- Demonstrable knowledge of current technological trends and developments regarding Cyber Security
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to complete independently; Ability to meet tight timelines
