Job Description

Have you successfully run a YouTube channel? Do you have complicated feelings about what happened to Gimlet Media? Do you have strong opinions about technical decisions made in movies, which might make your loved ones roll their eyes when you really start going? If you're a talented creator with a track record of making quality videos and podcasts, then we'd like to talk.

To help us create the greatest content centered on landlords, we're looking for a video editor with experience booking guests, writing scripts, and being a central role in a complicated and ever-shifting content production schedule.

As part of the Education and Community team, you will:

  • Build the strategy related to multimedia content
  • Coordinate, shoot, and edit all video and audio content
  • Manage TurboTenant's YouTube channel
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create media for a variety of purposes, including education, SEO, and product marketing
  • Establish TurboTenant's sonic and video branding

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in video production, with a portfolio to show for it
  • Have a proven ability to identify and tell compelling stories
  • Be an excellent editor, with the ability to pinpoint the best elements of a recorded interview to be repurposed for other mediums
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Be comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced work environment

Bonus points if you have experience in any of the following areas:

  • Being a property investor
  • Hosting podcast or video content
