POSITION OVERVIEW


The Celebration Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales and execution of social small room blocks and premium suite bookings as well as prioritizing and engaging new guests to book with Fontainebleau Las Vegas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Follow the leadership of the Sr. Celebration Sales Manager in maintaining a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and Member satisfaction thus resulting in employee retention and profitability of the department
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Celebration Manager and take action on small celebratory group room blocks and premium suite bookings processes, payment collection, sales, and reporting
  • Impact Fontainebleau need periods through unique, strategic, and profitable promotions and sales efforts per hotel strategy
  • Initiate client proposals, negotiate business terms in contracts with clients, and process turnover for execution to internal departments
  • Partner internally with cross-property departments to plan, manage, and coordinate guest special events and celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, reunions, bachelor/bachelorette parties, proposals, anniversaries, etc.
  • Conduct site tours of our room and suites for prospective clients
  • Represent Fontainebleau Las Vegas at industry events by promoting our brand and product offerings, cultivating relationships not only with customers directly but also with industry partners
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or university in hospitality management, or similar disciplines and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of hotel experience in Leisure or Celebration sales, with progressive supervisory experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of luxury, guest service hotel experience
  • Proficient in Infor/HMS, Triple Seat, and Delphi preferred
  • Provide the ultimate experience for all clients while providing the highest-level standards of service without sacrificing quality
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft application tools, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills which include being able to comfortably sell new ideas/strategies at all levels of the organization
  • Skilled in developing, leading, and maintaining guest relations
  • Ability to apply reasoning to variety of situations along with problem-solving and guest service
  • Title 26 knowledge required.
  • Ability to customize guest experiences through suggestive selling techniques
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations during busy periods.
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position supervises Celebrations Coordinators and the administrative team.
