Overview:
The Community Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit, public-benefit organization based in Fresno, California. Community is the region's largest healthcare provider and private employer. We operate a physician residency program with one of the nation's top medical schools - the University of California, San Francisco. We are home to the only Level 1 Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center between Los Angeles and Sacramento and also serve as the area's "safety net provider." In fiscal year 2020, Community provided nearly $175 million in uncompensated services and programs.
Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of our three main hospitals and the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. This academic-affiliated, Level 1 Trauma Center is located on a 58-acre campus in downtown Fresno. It features one of the largest and busiest emergency departments in California as well as a comprehensive burn center. Our hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients.

Paid training for ALCS and PALS
The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics. Delivery of patient care in the Central Valley's only Level 1 Trauma Center. Learn how to care for the all levels and ages of patients with medical concerns and injuries ranging from the common cold to heart attacks and strokes to broken bones and major trauma. All of our ED physicians are part of the UCSF Fresno Emergency Medical Service and that makes our department a place where the emphasis is on education and teaching. Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include:
Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
Must have CA RN Lic. posted on the BRN.
Current RN license for the state of California and BLS certification.
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer into job.
