QA Engineer Staff (Level 4)

• This position reports to Quality Excellence Manager and is responsible for work product quality and implementation and execution of program quality requirements. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Program Life-cycle experience
• Experience reviewing contract flow downs
• Experience with quality budgets and cost commitments
• Previous experience in Quality Engineering and/or related discipline processes

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Process and performance measurement: developing, collecting and analyzing metrics
• Self-starter who is detail oriented, well organized and able to self-prioritize and complete tasks within in a dynamic and demanding environment. Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills working within a diverse environment and across many disciplines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build and provide briefings and status reports

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
