Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Psychologist.

Providing evidence-based individual and group treatment to adult World Trade Center responders with anxiety, mood, and substance abuse disorders with specific focus on the mental health sequelae of WTC-related medical conditions. Providing monitoring exam assessments. Incorporation of patient self-report symptom measures into treatment planning

Job Responsibilities:

• Administering semi-structured clinical interviews for diagnostic and research purposes
• Assist mental health director in developing new initiatives
• Case management of mental health patients
• Provides clinical psychotherapy for both English speaking and Spanish-speaking WTC responders

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a NYS Licensed clinical or counseling psychologist (PhD or PsyD). Experience providing integrative assessment and treatment for posttraumatic sequelae and occupational stress. Experience providing assessment and treatment for mental health sequelae of WTC-related health conditions, including cancer. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups. A passion for the NYUSoM CCE mission and working with adult first responders from varied occupational backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:
Clinical experience in health psychology.
Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., APA, etc).
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
