LiRo Architects + Planners, P.C., based in lower Manhattan, is an award-winning design firm seeking an Project Architect to participate in the design, documentation and construction administration of a variety of projects. Our projects range from the rehabilitation and expansion of existing buildings to new building design.

Responsibilities
  • Drafting and modifying Architectural drawings at all phases
  • Reviewing design documents and construction estimates
  • Assisting in coordination with engineering consultants, and coordinating documents with MEP, Civil, and Structural drawings
  • Researching products and materials
  • Performing constructibility reviews



Qualifications
  • A degree in Architecture from an accredited college is required
  • 3 to 5 years U. S. experience in building design and construction document preparation is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
  • Proficiency with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Rhino 3D Max or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
  • Knowledge of International and Local Building Codes is a plus
  • Strong conceptual, communication, planning and organization skills and capability of working both individually and in a team environment on a variety of projects and tasks
  • Candidate should be preparing to meet all qualifications to sit for ARE and/ or LEED exams

Compensation: Minimum: $80,000; Maximum $90,000
