LM Space Mission Strategy and Advanced Capabilities organization is hiring a Program Management Staff to support Space Security products. This Program Management Staff will work closely with the Augmentation System Port Interface (ASPIN) and Vehicle Augmentation Electronics (VAEL) Internal Research and Development (IRAD) Program Manager to lead the team to program insertions. - Support day to day ASPIN and VAEL tasks, including integration onto host platforms, system engineering, Software, and both ground and flight demonstrations
- Participate in new business capture activities for government Broad Area Assessments, Request for Information (RFI) Responses, and Request for Proposal (RFP) Responses along with White Papers.
- Support all phases of programs from inception through completion
- Track cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Work with the team to ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Contribute to program review sessions with customer (internal and external) to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Maintain & track the program's Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) or Internal Research and Development (IRAD) deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven hardware and software project
management experience and demonstrated
leadership skills, including planning, scheduling,
workload forecasting and proposal development.
This includes an understanding of hardware and
software system architectures across multiple
platforms
- Ability to build and maintain customer
relationships, be a team player, meet deadlines
and adjust to changing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across
organization and geographical boundaries
- Self-starter and quick learner with the ability to
spot potential for process improvement; capable
of building effective relationships with teams and
subject matter experts
- Ability to coordinate with other sites, business
areas, programs and functional areas to
coordinate daily operations as well as program coordination and adoption
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in planning and
maintaining budgets
- Demonstrated experience in technology
insertion into programs of record
- Experience with Independent Research and Development (IRAD) and/or Customer Research
and Development (CRAD) planning and
execution
- Demonstrated experience in driving complex
issues or problems to successful closure

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $105,000 - $201,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
