WHO WE ARE
CBC Education, Inc. prides itself on making a positive impact in the lives of children and families. We create a supportive environment, where we can both learn and have fun at the same time. Our agency has been providing services to those with developmental disabilities for over 15 years. The vast majority of our clientele is school-aged; however, we also support individuals much older. We serve individuals from all different backgrounds, and our team is equally diverse. The goal of our services it to foster one’s socio-emotional development, while at the same time empowering the families to gain the confidence to see growth in their family member.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are excited to be able to continue to expand our growing team! We currently have openings for our Developmental/Floortime Specialist positions. The Developmental Specialist position provides DIR/Floortime therapy to individuals with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome. Floortime therapy is a play-based approach that focuses on three main areas of development: play, communication and social. The goal is to help the child or individual reach their developmental milestones, and to also do this by parent coaching. Specialists work independently in different settings and report directly to the Case Manager.
