Our sports rehabilitation start-up is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a permanent member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with athletes of all levels and help them recover from injuries, improve their performance, and achieve their goals. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the root cause of injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and strength and conditioning coaches, to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Educate patients on injury prevention strategies and techniques to improve their overall health and wellness
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on the latest research and treatment techniques in the field of physical therapy
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy
- Maryland Physical Therapy License
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on sports rehabilitation preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care to all patients
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
