****PHARMACY TECH LICENSE REQUIRED****

Description:

Pharmacy technicians will be working in a closed door pharmacy handling filling of scripts.

Responsible for receiving supplies, filling medication orders accurately and timely in a high volume nature. Customers are prisons and long-term care facilities that drugs get shipped out to.

The type of fills are typically blister cards and occasional bottle fills.

Must put on printing labels for orders and verify lot numbers.

Packing prescriptions into boxes at a high volume and lifting up to 15 lbs.

• There is also a separate order entry department where some tech may be hired to input the script information received via fax and email into the order system that gets approved by pharmacist for accuracy and then gets sent to the floor for filling. This position requires strong typing skills and attention to detail, will be at a computer/desk all day
