What to Expect
The Tesla Energy Business Operations team is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Operations analyst to support the Americas Sales and Sales Ops team in achieving quarterly booking and deployment targets of Megapack, Powerwall, PV, and other Tesla Energy products sold to Utilities, Commercial, and Industrial customers.

This role interacts directly with many Commercial Energy stakeholders, with the primary stakeholders being Commercial Sales and Sales Operations team in the Americas region. She/he will work together with Sales and Sales Ops in strategic planning, operations execution planning, executive reporting; and be responsible for developing and refining key reports and analytical insights required to aid weekly order prioritization, delivery execution, and various business decision. She/he will also be the subject-matter-expert for America's region Sales/Sales Operations business reporting, while being a contributing member of the global data analytics team supporting data mapping and validation as needed.
What You’ll Do
  • Develop prompt, accurate and insightful analysis and reporting of Tesla Energy’s commercial performance based on set criteria and metrics approved by management.
  • Develop, refine, and validate several key Sales and Sales Ops Microsoft BI reports; proactively improve report format and data integrity as Energy business model evolves.
  • Be the reporting and Tesla Energy system data subject expert, integrate data from various systems into key reports, and support data mapping exercises as needed during system migration.
  • Gather and incorporate a variety of inputs from Production, Logistics, Warehouse, Demand Planning and Sales; develop weekly order release and delivery plan for Sales Ops to execution for optimal customer experience and revenue; monitor progress and triage issue resolution as needed.
  • Drive report simplification and consolidation; understand user requirements and business purposes of each report, improve usability and practicality of key reports.
  • Support ad hoc analytics, data refreshing using SQL and advanced MS Excel.
  • Coach and mentor junior analysts, design and host analytics training sessions as needed.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Applied Analytics
  • Minimal 3 years of SQL, Tableau, Microsoft BI and advanced MS Excel modeling
  • Minimal 3 years performing business analytics
  • In-depth knowledge in Statics and process improvement
  • Prior experience in Operations is a must
  • Prior leadership experience is a must
  • Prior experience working with Sales, Sales Ops, Logistic Ops strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with extremely fast-paced organizations strongly preferred
