Inspection Supervisor (Level 3)
This is a 3rd shift position supporting inspection personnel assigned to F-35 Quality South Team.
- Supervises employees who inspect products to determine compliance with specifications. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- The entrant will report to the F35 Wing and EMAS Asc Mgr. and is responsible for product quality and the continual assessment of manufacturing processes and yield.
- The candidate will help identify preventive actions that will assess performance and drive actions in order to control sources of variation that within product quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Strong communication skills are required in order to support steady collaboration and integration with varying functions, leaders, and engineering disciplines in order to achieve program success.
- Must be a US Citizen. This position supports a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
- Prior aircraft and Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents.
- Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of AS9100
- Demonstrated ability to work at all levels
of the organization to drive change
- Experience utilizing Microsoft office tools
Desired Skills:
- Ability to effectively and successfully interact with internal and external customers and government agencies.
- Preferred 1 year previous leadership experience in a professional environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed to ensure collaboration.
