Description:

We are seeking an experienced Modeling and Simulation (M&S) engineer to support an advanced program effort in the Sensors and Global Sustainment line of business. The successful candidate will apply his/her understanding of M&S to support simulation development, analysis, and testing for a collaborative protection system of crewed and non-crewed aircraft. The simulation will include tactical software in the loop and well be used to support autonomy development.

Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance with Interim Secret required to start.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, applied mathematics, computer science, or similar. (PhD + 0 years of experience, or MS + 3 years of experience, or BS + 5 years of experience)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following languages: C++, Matlab, Python

Desired Skills:


  • Experience with modeling and analysis of Electro-Optical (EO) sensors.
  • Strong understanding of the physics of motion and rotation sensing devices.
  • Strong programming skills that can translate to C++ development in a Linux environment.
  • Experience developing, verifying, and validating complex vehicle and sensor models and simulations.
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control and Government EO modeling tools (PRISM, SPIRITS, MODTRAN).
  • Familiarity with missile warning sensors and Digital Signal Modeling/Injection techniques.
