The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis Joint Ventures is responsible for leading reporting of financial performance and key metrics to Krispy Kreme executives and key stakeholders throughout the organization. The Manager will provide analytical and long-term planning support to all stakeholders, ensuring insightful financial data, and process and system improvements.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Supports the US Leadership Team and Executive teams of the Krispy Kreme Joint Ventures in analysis, forecasting and budgeting of doughnut shops.
  • Supports the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for capex, including development of business cases for new investment projects and new shop pro formas
  • Manages and creates ad-hoc analyses and presentations to clearly communicate business results to the Companys stakeholders.
  • Develops and improves tracking of KPIs to understand business performance and operational challenges and make appropriate recommendations to executives and owners.
  • Analyze monthly P&L reports, providing insight into business results, performance trends and areas of improvement.
  • Leads the financial forecasting process for the Joint Ventures by helping to manage timelines and calendars in support of the overall US & Canada FP&A planning/forecasting calendar and other key business partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting and forecasting of financials.
  • Develops financial reporting presentations for senior management including monthly and quarterly results, quarterly forecasts, long-term forecast, and Strategic Plan synthesizing input from all key partners impacting the business strategy.
  • Responsible for supporting the creation of materials for the Board of Director meetings and the support of Board Meeting governance including recording of board minutes, facilitation of board minute review and coordination of meeting scheduling
  • Partners with Accounting and the Joint Venture teams to ensure accurate P&Ls and reporting.
  • Responsible for Shop Portfolio analysis, including benchmarking, scorecard development and channel performance (Retail Shop, DFD, ecommerce).
  • Responsible for identification of ongoing improvements in financial data, processes, and systems to support analysis and decision making across the business.
  • Drive best practices throughout Finance team, ensuring standardization of processes and reporting.
  • Enforce governance and compliance of company policies and procedures.
  • Perform various ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Masters degree or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience with multi-unit retail foodservice experience preferred, but not required. Experience in Management Consulting experience ideal.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced skills in financial modeling, critical reasoning and process analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting with ability to model income statement, balance sheet and cash flows in addition to return on investment and debt leverage metrics.
  • Expert level MS Excel and Powerpoint skills with experience developing and executing executive level presentations, including the ability to clearly and concisely present data, results and analysis at an executive level
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
  • Ability to distill large amounts of inputs quickly to reach sound decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience with Oracle, or other comparable ERP, and Hyperion Essbase preferred
