The ideal candidate will be able to assist attorneys in all stages of litigation. This candidate should feel comfortable performing research, data entry, scheduling, opening and maintaining case files (including preliminary work and investigation of a case before acceptance of it), and completing other ad hoc requests, as needed. Applicants should be able to think quickly on their feet and be prepared to assist in large scale trials.
Responsibilities:
Basic legal and fact research.
Assist with case management; opening files; medical lien searches; document requests; discovery; file maintenance; intake of evidence; etc.
Organize and electronically file pleadings in multiple venues.
Coordinate and schedule calendars.
Qualifications:
Paralegal Degree/Certificate or on the job training.
7+ years’ as Litigation Experience Required.
