We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the legal industry with a focus on litigation, insurance law, general liability, subrogation, workers compensation, and commercial law. The candidate must also possess dual licenses for the Illinois state bar and Indiana state bar.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial.
  • Develop and implement litigation strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients on a variety of legal matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend court hearings and trials, and argue on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of cases and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in both Illinois and Indiana.
  • 3+ years of experience in litigation, insurance law, general liability, subrogation, workers compensation, and commercial law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
