Warehouse Shipping Lead

Objectives and Responsibilities

• Oversee order processing & shipping, including specific packaging requirements.
• Proactively identify problems, and work with manager to implement effective solutions.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure that orders are fulfilled according to schedule.
• Review inventory records to confirm that the correct amount of product is available for use.
• Monitor employee productivity and take steps to improve where necessary.
• Make sure products meet customer standards and are packed carefully.
• Coordinate with Sales to ensure smooth delivery of orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skill and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience with warehouse processes and order shipping
• Self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills
• High energy, detail oriented, with a passion for order accuracy and on-time delivery
• This position will involve a great deal of time on the warehouse floor, so ability to stand and walk for long periods of time is necessary.
• Bending and lifting as needed throughout shift.
• Forklift experience would be considered a plus.
