We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team! You will be considered a value contributor member while working in conjunction with a team of radiologists and professional medical staff. Although we have different backgrounds, we pride ourselves on our ability to come together as a team to provide excellent patient care.
You will work closely with a team of medical imaging professionals who are dedicated to ensuring that the best patient outcome is achieved. Our main focus and priority are to maintain no hospital-acquired infections, improve the safety of our patients, and better the communication and teamwork within the organization.
Clovis Community Medical Center opened at its current location as a 109-bed hospital in 1988. Since then, there's been nothing but growth. Today, Clovis Community has 208 private patient rooms and another 144 under construction. We've added a $68 million freestanding Cancer Institute and other specialty programs and now perform more than 13,000 surgeries annually.
Responsibilities:

In your role, you will:
Prepare patients for procedures
Analyze laboratory results and medical history
Educate patient and family
Insert IV lines
Administer drugs including procedural sedation
Monitor patient's patterns and vital signs during procedures
Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
All other responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program
California RN state license
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer into job
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer of into job.
Ability to take On-Call during the week and some weekends
Background procedural sedation, angiography, and special procedures
Preferences:
Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is preferred.
Advance level of clinical nursing practice in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience preferred.
Skilled in performing circulator duties during invasive procedures. Sedation and scrub experience is also highly desired.
- This position will be required to take on call.
