Role Description

As Nest Collaborative's HR Generalist / Recruiter, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth and success of our team. You will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization, and assist the organization with administrative Human Resource functions for all Nest Collaborative team members.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to draft and maintain detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Perform job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assist with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Perform employment verification processes and employment offer processes after a candidate is chosen.
  • Complete onboarding with newly hired team members on their first day at Nest.
  • Maintain HR email account on a daily basis.
  • Assist in the maintenance of team member data in Company HRIS.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, but equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree also welcome.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience performing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process required.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as an HR generalist required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Google Suite or related software.
  • Experience with Paycor and BambooHR a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Work from home requirements: Computer literacy, stable high speed internet connection, quiet/private location to perform work and join team meetings.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US.
  • Must be able to work long periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $57,500 - 65,000 per year, based on experience
  • 27 days off per year. This includes 12 holidays per year, plus 15 days of PTO per year (this increases to 20 days of PTO per year after 1st anniversary with the company)
