Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Associate is to work with the RMR Human Resources Learning & Engagement and Talent Management teams that services our national company. This individual provides project management, program management, analytical, and coordination support to key HR programs and processes that help RMR build a high-performing workplace. Projects and programs that this individual may contribute to include employee engagement, performance management, leadership and talent development talent acquisition. Generate and analyze HR and workforce metrics that help measure the progress and efficacy of programs and initiatives.
The Human Resources Associate must have excellent organizational and project management skills, professional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, strong attention to detail, and ability to collaborate and build partnerships within HR and with business partner stakeholders. This individual also needs to represent RMR well when working with candidates or other external providers and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Support implementation as project manager or coordinator of practices and programs that advance RMR as a high-performance workplace: employee engagement, performance management, employee onboarding, career and employee development, including the development of processes and procedures and day to day administration of tools that support these programs.
- Oversee the management of the RMR New Hire Orientation.
- Identify New Hires
- Lead all coordination of program and networking events
- Facilitate program
- Add design elements and enhancements that keep the program interactive and increases engagement.
- Administer program evaluations and identify upgrades based on participant feedback.
- Identify and implement enhancements to the New Hire Onboarding Process & Experience
- Send New Hire Surveys as scheduled, track responses and generate reports as scheduled, and support the analysis of themes.
- Provide end to end coordination of learning and training programs (workshops and webinars) including:
- Booking rooms and locations.
- Enrolling participants.
- Providing facilitators with participant lists and materials.
- Sending evaluations.
- Tracking and reporting on program feedback and effectiveness.
- Note employee participation in ADP Talent Profile records.
- Generate program eligibility lists using ADP and by consulting with Talent Management.
- Supporting the analysis of themes and upgrade opportunities.
- Support HR Associate colleague in the management of the RMR Summer Internship Program.
- Work with managers on job descriptions.
- Recruit for open internship positions at Corporate and Regional offices.
- Coordinate educational lunch series.
- Oversee the HR intern.
- Help to resolve issues that arise with interns.
- Serve as backup for the Talent Management team and HR Assistant in managing candidates and the hiring process in iCIMS by performing the following tasks as necessary:
- Scheduling applicants for interviews and testing; acting as backup to Human Resources Assistant for entering background checks and conducting reference checks; drafting offer letters to prospective new hires; posting open positions on external websites as directed by Talent Management team.
- Organize and schedule assigned annual company events including:
- Community Event/Summer Outing for corporate office and coordinate with regional offices of RMR. Select date, select menu, research and propose gift ideas. Prepare and send announcement.
- Annual community service drives, such as Adopt a Family Program, other
- Holiday party & Employee Recognition Awards program.
- Support the Senior Director, Inclusion and Engagement in the implementation of RMR Inclusion Programs.
- Support the Senior Director, Inclusion and Engagements in the development and execution of RMR Annual Training Plan and Budget.
- Share the responsibility for conducting exit interviews for terminating employees.
- Serve as backup in support of the VP, Human Resources.
- Other duties as assigned that require research and coordination.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English, Communication or related area of study; minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 2-4 years of related HR experience.
- Advanced computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook calendar management. iCIMS experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; evidence of deadline orientation and time management skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
- A high level of organization and a thorough attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and contribute to a team’s success.
- High energy, resourcefulness, and assertiveness.
- Capable of seeing the big picture, acting as a hub of information flow, and able to keep projects moving.
- Ability to work extended hours
