    Gear UP Data/Project Leader – B-1 Stipend Responsibilities This individual is responsible for ensuring that the local program follows all USDOE regulations, guidance and requirements. The program activities occur as specified in the grant and that any obstacles are identified and addressed in a timely way. This individual is also responsible for the implementation of the service delivery plan of GEAR UP-EH programming related to data collection, reporting, analysis along with operational components of programming that support the Local GU Project Coordinator.
    • Manage data collection, enter service activities, and analysis efforts and work with school district in the collection efforts of data required by the GU CT grant.
    • Maintain all records on program activities and participants in “Scribe”, Data Management System solely used by GU CT Grant for USDOE federal reporting requirements.
    • Prepare and submit quarterly data reports as required by the GU CT.
    • Participate in state and national meetings to ensure coordination, continual learning and dissemination of effective data management practices as required by GU CT and USDOE.
    • Prepare and analyze data results of student assessment and school achievement data provided by the LEA to determine appropriate supports to be offered to students as required by grant.
    • Work with school district to send out and receive/enter Student Data Collection Consents into Scribe.
    • Ensuring all resources are delivered to Local GEAR UP program in accordance with the grant
    • Ensure that the GU EH programs collect necessary data regarding project-level performance measures and provide all information required by GU CT & USDOE
    • Ensure all progress reports completed in a timely manner to present to the GU CT for annual data progress reports.
    • Provide technical assistance to local program/stakeholders as needed
    • Monitor, prepare and report on local program student participation data from GU EH activities.
    • Monitor, prepare and report on local program teacher/staff participation data from GU EH activities.
    • Monitor, prepare and report on local program student demographic information.
    • Maintain and update the all data collection as required by GU CT for federal reporting.
    • Prepare and submit programming data reports, including but not limited to the Annual Summative Report, Yearly Progress Reports, APR and other data collections that may be required by GU CT.
    • Prepare and report on project benchmarks, targets, goals, outcomes relating to data.
    • Attend all data meetings and training as required by GU CT. • Plan and implement programming where the GU scholarship information can/will be disseminated to students and their parents.
    • Plan, prepare and conduct student/parent technical workshops. Stipend: EHEA B-1
    • The actions of this employee in relation to this position are completed beyond the regular teacher work day.
