New York Hilton Midtownis looking for an Event Experience Manager!This candidate will be responsible for servicing incoming groups and events and serving as an intermediary between the customer and the key departments involved. You will be the main contact for the client and representing the hotel from the time the client arrives to executing a memorable experience on their departure.

New York Hilton Midtownis in the heart of the city, opposite the Museum of Modern Art, and blocks from Central Park and Radio City. This hotel has one of the biggest ballrooms in NYC and boasts 127,000 square feet of space, constituting a meeting planner's dream!

What will I be doing?

As an Event Experience Manager, you will work perform the following tasks with the highest standards:

• Create Banquet Event orders in the hotel Delphi system, detailing of group program space, diagram creation, invoicing, and creating affiliate contracts, proposals, memos, reports, and revisions.
• Prepare room blocks for processing, letters of guaranteed rooms and/or F&B; cut off letters, coordinate with outside vendors, managing loading dock schedule, group resume/cover letters, collect and file certificate of insurance & hold harmless
• Event Experience Managerwill take part in forecast reports, banquet check reconciliation, information sheets, rooming lists, etc. Liaise with internal departments as needed, Projects as assigned.
• Assist /support Event Operations Manager with Scheduling, assignments and payroll as needed. Separates, posts, and distributes event order sheets/resume packets.
• Assist with Discovery and Planning Visits, tastings, Pre-Con and tie down meeting support.
• Process Amenities and coordinate all hotel services for groups such as ex. coat check. Greet guests and direct them to appropriate parties assist with on floor service desk if needed.
• Route incoming mail, faxes, and packages for group arrivals.
