Qualification:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or
ability required.

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:
  • 5+ years experience in enterprise-level DevOps
  • GCP (Google Cloud Platform) experience
  • Kubernetes experience (includes Docker, containers, GKE, EKS, Docker compose)
  • HashiCorp product experience (e.g., Terraform, Packer, Vault)
  • Knowledge in Continuous Integration; Delivery (+ testing)
  • Deep knowledge of the Linux operating system
  • Knowledge in git-scm

Bonus Skills:
  • Security Practitioner / SecOps experience
  • Knowledge of NodeJS
  • Knowledge of DataDog
  • AWS experience
  • Ansible experience
  • Knowledge of SaFe 3 Agile
  • Knowledge in semver

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Write clean, scalable infrastructure-as-code
  • Conduct code reviews
  • Independently design cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Monitor and debug production cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering team to identify opportunities to improve engineering
workflow
  • Learn new software languages, tools, and frameworks needed to implement technical
solutions
  • Mentor team members
  • Additional duties assigned by your supervisor

What you’ll be working on

Job Summary / Purpose:
We are looking for a strong DevOps engineer to join our infrastructure team. We are open to
talent being located anywhere worldwide so long as you have 6+ hours overlap with working
hours in the PST timezone (9AM - 5PM PST.) This is a highly collaborative role. You will be
engaging in regular conversation with our DevOps Lead and the rest of the DevOps team to
design and implement solutions to novel problems. This role will also require close collaboration
with our engineering leads to design and implement infrastructure in tandem with software
development.


The first deliverables will be:
  • Automate 100% of our existing and future Cloud Infrastructure
  • Build; Improve our current CI/CD workflow
  • Assess and secure our Cloud Infrastructure
  • Create and Improve our integration with 3rd party platforms
