Job duties:

• Schedule patients to maximize efficiency of calendar and doctor productivity

• Greet patients, ensure all forms are filled out through automatically sent links or before appointment using tablets

• Fully versed with insurance eligibility and benefit verification; educate patients about their insurance coverage and provide breakdown of patient portion for treatment plans
• Accurate submission of insurance claims and collection of insurance and patient payments

• Maintain clear notes about patient and insurance conversations.

• Send electronic or paper statements to patients

• Familiar with treatment planning

We have the following efficiency measures in place:

• "Flex Dental" that directly integrates with Open Dental for text/email based appointment reminders, automatic confirmations, e-payments and auto-reconciliations, e-billing, e-consent forms and COVID form texting/emailing for patients to fill prior to visit.

• We use electronic claim submission.

• Online access to all insurances for eligibility verification.

• We have integrated Open Dental with email system for communicating x-rays and intraoral pictures with specialists etc. Our focus has been on making the front desk job efficient.

Mint Family Dental is a single-dentist, private, general and cosmetic dentistry office. We accept only select PPO insurances. We are open Monday to Thursday.
