Be a part of the Langham Operations Team in providing exceptional customer service, creative routing, carrier negotiations, spot quoting, problem solving, carrier procurement, and relationship building as a Logistics Specialist.

Daily duties may require:

• Knowledge of cargo aircraft capabilities, commercial airlines, linehaul agents, P&D agents, LTL and truckload carriers.
• Familiarity with cut off times, schedules, requirements and limitations.
• TSA rules and regulations.
• The ability to recognize and strategize all types of routing scenarios, including multiple leg routings.
• Meet the customer's requirements while maximizing profitability.
• Act as a Logistics Consultant on strategic routings and pricing for complex projects, tradeshows and distributions.
• Recognize and assign appropriate carriers, evaluate carrier service metrics, communicate essential information to the Langham Operations Team, and prioritization of tasks.
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills, adaptability, responsiveness, time management, and strong computer skills are essential.
• Availability for a rotating on-call schedule.

PREVIOUS 3rd PARTY LOGISTICS, DISPATCH AND FREIGHT ROUTING EXPERIENCE A REQUIREMENT. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE A DETAILED UNDERSTANDING AND WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF AIR, LTL, TRUCKLOAD, BROKERAGE, RAIL, AND EXPEDITED GROUND TRANSPORTATION.
