Description:

Aston Carter has an opening for a Credit Clerk for its Deerfield Beach, Florida. This is a Salaried exempt position, reporting to the Regional Credit Manager. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Credit Management team by Securing Receivables, Credit Research, and Reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain lien rights by issuing Sworn Statements of accounts as needed.
• Recording Claims of Lien and Satisfaction of lien in the appropriate counties.
• Maintain Bond rights by issuing Notice of Non-payment and pull back up for Bond

Claims.

• Research & Process Credit Applications, Trade Credit reports for new and existing

customers.

• Manage Vendor Notice to Owners.
• Prepare various reports as needed by the department.
• Fill in other duties within the department as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of Computer Software packages (SAP is a bonus) & Excel (Basics, Formula, Reconciling Accounts).
• Experience in Construction Industry Preferred - FL/TX/CA Lein Release Laws
• Good Math and Reasoning Skills.
• Strong Organization Skills for Time-Sensitive Tasks.
• Strong Interpersonal Skills, reliable and dependable.
• Maintain a courteous, professional attitude with customers and co-workers at all times.
• Notary is a huge plus
