SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Controller is responsible for financial management, including cost accounting, forecasting and budgeting for a group of manufacturing plants (three), while supporting the company wide SOX initiatives. The successful candidate will build upon each plant’s management team’s success in producing profitable operating results.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately complete the month-end financial close and forecast preparation
• Prepare monthly communications that summarize plant performance
• Measure and record business transactions including General Ledger, A/P, Payroll, Inventory and Fixed Assets
• Ensure that all reserves, write-offs and accruals are timely and appropriate

• Prepare insightful variance analysis
• Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, Corporate and Regulatory requirements
• Facilitate internal and external audit requirements at the plant level
• Prepare all capital appropriations requests

• Prepare annual budget

EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelors Degree (Accounting or Finance)

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 5+ years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment as a Controller

SKILLS:

Required: Experience with Microsoft Office and Enterprise Business Software

Preferred: Oracle E-Business Suite experience
