Tesla is in search of a Non CDL Certified Driver to work on one of the most progressive services for our world-renowned innovative company. The Driver is a critical contributor in the Tesla experience as you will be the face of our distribution center.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver automotive products from our Distribution Center to Service Centers and Body Shops.
- Minor Van service and maintenance
- Vehicle cleaning (wash and minor detailing)
- Building report | relationships with the field
- Understanding the Tesla mission and being able to relay the message
- Miscellaneous jobs as required
- Support in the warehouse as a material handler when not out on delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid driver’s license with DOT Non-CDL Certification and Medical Card. Clean driving record and insurable
- Great work ethic & team player – levelheaded, detail-oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, and professional and customer focused.
- Previous DOT Commercial Vehicle experience preferred.
- Current DOT Physical Examination (medical card).
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record with high safety awareness on the roadways.
- Knowledge and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines.
- Accurately maintain daily driver logbook, pre-check and post-check of Van.
- Knowledge of local major and minor roadways.
- Ability to effectively use maps and directions for efficient routing.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy boxes | Glass (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks.
- Able to work OT as required, multiple shifts, and work within 200-mile radius of the Bethlehem RDC.
