Job Summary:

As the Compensation Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the compensation programs are aligned to attract, retain and motivate individuals and teams to achieve their business goals and vision. The role reports to the Director, Total Rewards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the company's Compensation strategy and leads Compensation policy and procedure development
  • Designs, develops, and implements competitive, cost-effective, and equitable broad-based and executive compensation programs across the US.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains a job architecture (including job family groups, job families, management levels, job profiles, job codes, job descriptions, etc.) across the US.
  • Implements and maintains a standardized compensation structure, including salary grades, and incentive targets.
  • Provides input to maintain regulatory compliance, including the US Department of Labor, OFCCP, EEOC, etc.
  • Recommends incentive plan designs, including the creation and revision of models for management. Implements and administers incentive plans including the creation and maintenance of an incentive accrual process in partnership with the company's Finance team.
  • Supports the Company's mergers and acquisitions due diligence and integration activities.
  • Leads the planning and execution of the annual compensation cycle for all Associates.
  • Leads the configuration and ongoing management of the advanced Compensation module within Workday.
  • Provides consultation and advises HR, supervisors, managers, and associates on compensation matters including internal and external market analyses.
  • Manages compensation surveys including data submissions and surveillance of the external market to ensure the company has adequate benchmark data to make timely, competitive, and accurate compensation decisions.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and the workforce as well as a team member.
  • Must be able to function independently, be a hands-on contributor, work with ambiguity, demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, business decision-making skills, execute on projects/tasks, and manage across various groups.
  • Excellent project management skills including the ability to collaborate, organize, execute, and plan large-scale projects.
  • Must have strong attention to detail, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Service-minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Economics or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in compensation program management, including experience with job architecture and incentive plan design.
  • Experience with Workday configuration and Advanced Compensation Module administration.
  • Compensation or other financial certifications a plus.
  • Experience reporting from cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) payroll and HRIS systems
